In Florida, 14-year-olds can work in roles such as babysitting, dog walking, or entry-level retail and fast-food positions, but state labor laws strictly limit their hours and job types. They cannot work during school hours, exceed 18 hours per week when school is in session, or work more than 3 hours on school days. Hazardous are prohibited, and most positions require parental consent.
