how to write a letter turning down a job offer

[Keegan]

To decline a job offer professionally, write a concise email or letter thanking the employer for the offer and their time. Clearly state that you are respectfully declining, optionally citing a neutral reason such as accepting another role or the position not being the right fit. End on a positive note, wishing the company success and leaving the door open for future opportunities.
