To pursue college courses while working full-time, prioritize flexibility through online or asynchronous classes, practice strict time with calendars and prioritization, and maintain self-care to prevent burnout. Consider shorter-term or accelerated programs, communicate with your employer about your schedule, and establish consistent, dedicated study habits to stay on track.

Don’t rush to finish school; choose a program that fits your schedule. For my master’s, online courses worked best, allowing one or two classes per semester, using tuition reimbursement, and working on assignments mostly on weekends. It’s fine if it takes longer to finish. Plan for social commitments and set reminders for all assignments and tests to avoid missing deadlines.

Your available hours are limited, so you need to decide on your priorities. Don’t quit working, but balance is key. To finish your degree quickly, you’ll need to take more classes, leaving less time for work. If you’re okay with taking longer, maintain your work hours and take only a couple of courses each semester to manage both effectively.
