Insurance companies will compensate for traffic accidents involving uninspected vehicles. Vehicle inspection is an administrative act by the vehicle management department, and compensation cannot be denied solely because the vehicle involved in the accident was uninspected. Inspection materials: Original "Motor Vehicle License Plate Application Form" (signed by the delegate of the public vehicle unit or the private vehicle owner), proof of compulsory traffic accident liability insurance for motor vehicles, copy of the vehicle and vessel tax payment or tax exemption certificate, original motor vehicle safety technical inspection certificate, and original "Motor Vehicle Driving License". Inspection time regulations: The vehicle inspection time is determined based on the date of new vehicle registration. For example, if the initial registration date on the motor vehicle driving license is June 2015, then the vehicle inspection time is every June. Additionally, according to Article 40 of the newly revised "Motor Vehicle Registration Regulations", the owner of the motor vehicle can apply for the inspection compliance mark at the vehicle management office of the registration location up to three months before the expiration of the motor vehicle inspection validity period. This means that vehicles scheduled for inspection in June can undergo the inspection in April, May, or June.
