Will the Audi A4L Feature Three LCD Screens?

Audi A4L will be equipped with three LCD screens in the interior, similar to the all-new A6L. Here are the relevant details: Exterior: In terms of appearance, the new car continues the design style of the current model. The newly styled LED headlights at the front provide high visibility when illuminated at night, along with excellent lighting effects. On the side of the body, the petal-shaped aluminum alloy sports wheels, paired with the rounded and full body shape, appear more three-dimensional. At the rear, the new car still features inverted L-shaped LED taillights, which, combined with the chrome-plated dual exhaust layout below, enhance the sporty feel. Powertrain: The powertrain section remains unchanged, with the new car still matching the 1.4T and 2.0T engines. Among them, the 1.4T engine has a maximum output power of 110kW and a peak torque of 250Nm. The 2.0T engine is tuned differently for high, medium, and low power outputs. The low-power version has a maximum power of 110kW and a peak torque of 270Nm; the medium-power version of the 2.0T engine can output up to 140kW and 320Nm of torque, while the high-power version delivers 185kW and 370Nm, respectively.
I previously researched the configuration of the Audi A4L and found that the current model does not come standard with three LCD screens. It mainly features a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch central control screen, with the air conditioning area still using traditional buttons. However, I recall that the new A4 released overseas last year has already adopted the Virtual Cockpit Plus system, including an air conditioning control screen with touch feedback. If the domestic new model follows this design, it is highly likely to feature a three-screen layout. However, three screens would increase the electrical load. A friend mentioned that the central control screen dims slightly when the air conditioning is turned on, so this design still depends on how well the vehicle's electrical system is optimized. I think there might be a chance to see this configuration in next year's facelift, especially since Audi is currently pushing hard on the technological feel of its interiors.
Last year when I test drove the A4L, I specifically asked the salesperson about the triple-screen setup. The salesperson said that when this generation model was being developed, Audi hadn't yet cascaded the triple-screen technology down to the A4 segment. Even the current top trim only comes with two large screens plus a HUD. But actually, the cost of triple screens isn't as high as imagined - the competing Mercedes C-Class already has them all. I think Audi might be holding back for a major upgrade, planning to directly implement the latest triple-screen design during the mid-cycle facelift. After all, the new Q5 already uses OLED screens - it would be unreasonable if the A4L doesn't get upgraded. One more thing - triple screens do tend to show fingerprints easily, so it's good to always keep a cleaning cloth handy.
