Will the At-Fault Party's Insurance Provide a Replacement Vehicle?

No replacement vehicle will be provided, but you can request the infringing party to compensate for reasonable expenses of alternative transportation during this period, such as taxi fares. Legal basis: Article 15 of the "Interpretation of the Supreme People's Court on Several Issues Concerning the Application of Law in the Trial of Cases Involving Compensation for Road Traffic Accident Damages" states that for the following property losses caused by road traffic accidents, if the party requests the infringing party to compensate, the people's court shall support: Repair or damage costs: Expenses incurred for repairing the damaged vehicle, loss of items carried in the vehicle, and vehicle rescue fees; if the vehicle is lost or irreparable, the replacement cost for purchasing a vehicle equivalent in value to the damaged vehicle at the time of the accident; Loss of operation and transportation expenses: Reasonable loss of operation for vehicles legally engaged in commercial activities such as goods transportation and passenger transportation due to inability to conduct corresponding business activities; reasonable expenses for usual alternative transportation for non-commercial vehicles due to inability to continue use.
