Will the 2021 Toyota 86 be introduced to the domestic market?

Toyota 86's return to the domestic market in 2021 is almost impossible. Affected by the 2017 "Passenger Car Corporate Average Fuel Consumption Accounting Method," the Toyota 86 was forced to withdraw from the Chinese market due to its high emissions. In addition to emission restrictions, another reason is the low sales volume of the 86 in China. Below is an introduction to the Toyota 86: Exterior: The design of the current model is largely retained, with sharp front headlights paired with a large-sized grille, giving it a very aggressive look. The side profile features clean and stylish lines, creating a posture reminiscent of an eagle diving downward. The rear design is conventional but becomes quite sporty with the addition of robust dual exhaust pipes. Powertrain: The new car is expected to continue using a 2.0L naturally aspirated horizontally opposed engine, mated to either a 6-speed manual or 6AT transmission. It delivers a maximum horsepower of 200 PS and a peak torque of 205 Nm. Additionally, the car comes standard with a Torsen limited-slip differential on the rear axle, significantly enhancing its handling performance.
