Will points be deducted if the ramp fixed-point parking is less than 30 centimeters?

No points will be deducted for starting on a slope with less than 30 centimeters. The evaluation criteria for ramp fixed-point parking and starting are as follows: Failure to park at the designated point on the ramp results in a 100-point deduction. If the car's front bumper does not reach the control line after stopping, a 100-point deduction is applied. If the car rolls back more than 30 centimeters after parking, a 100-point deduction is applied; if it rolls back less than 30 centimeters, a 10-point deduction is applied. The point deduction standards for starting on a slope are: 1. After the car stops, if the front bumper or motorcycle front axle is not aligned with the pole line, and the deviation is within 50 centimeters, a 10-point deduction is applied (originally 20 points); 2. After the car stops, if the distance between the car body and the roadside line exceeds 30 centimeters, a 10-point deduction is applied (originally 20 points); if it exceeds 50 centimeters, the test is failed; 3. After starting, if the car rolls back between 30 and 50 centimeters, a 20-point deduction is applied; 4. After starting, if the car rolls back more than 50 centimeters, the test is failed; 5. Stalling on the slope results in a 20-point deduction; 6. If the car is not started within 30 seconds after stopping, it is considered a timeout and the test is failed.
A few days ago, when I was teaching my daughter for the Subject 2 driving test, I specifically emphasized this point. Parking within 30 cm on the slope doesn’t deduct any points, while 30 to 50 cm will deduct 10 points. However, you must never cross the line—if the wheel touches the line, it’s an immediate fail. I taught her to align the raised part of the windshield wiper with the edge line and maintain a two-finger width distance between the car body and the line in the rearview mirror for the safest approach. Before ascending the slope, straighten the car, keep the throttle steady, and avoid stomping on it due to nervousness, which could cause the front bumper to exceed the stopping line. Remember, it’s better to be slightly under than exceed 50 cm, as going over means an instant disqualification.
