Will points be deducted if one license plate falls off?

According to relevant traffic regulations, driving a motor vehicle on the road without displaying a license plate, or intentionally obscuring, defacing, or failing to install the license plate as required will result in a deduction of 12 points. If one license plate falls off, driving with only one license plate is not allowed and is considered as failing to install the license plate as required. No unit or individual shall engage in the following acts: 1. Unauthorized alteration of the registered structure of a motor vehicle: It is prohibited to assemble a motor vehicle or alter its registered structure, construction, or characteristics without authorization. 2. Modification of the motor vehicle model: It is prohibited to change the model, engine number, frame number, or vehicle identification code of a motor vehicle. 3. Forgery or use of forged motor vehicle registration certificates: It is prohibited to forge, alter, or use forged or altered motor vehicle registration certificates, license plates, driving licenses, inspection qualification marks, or insurance marks. 4. Use of other motor vehicles' registration certificates: It is prohibited to use the registration certificates, license plates, driving licenses, inspection qualification marks, or insurance marks of other motor vehicles.
