According to the regulations for the Subject 2 driving test, failing to turn off the turn signal does not result in point deductions. However, not using the turn signal or using it incorrectly will result in a 10-point deduction. The specific regulations are as follows: Failing to use or incorrectly using the turn signal before starting, turning, changing lanes, overtaking, or parking will result in a 10-point deduction. Turning the steering wheel within 3 seconds of activating the turn signal before starting, turning, changing lanes, overtaking, or parking will result in a 10-point deduction. There are 6 instances in Subject 2 where the turn signal must be used, which are: When starting the vehicle, activate the left turn signal; When starting on a slope, activate the left turn signal; During parallel parking, activate the right turn signal when the vehicle passes the parking spot and pulls over to the side, stopping 30 cm from the curb before preparing to reverse; Before shifting into reverse during parallel parking, activate the left turn signal because the steering wheel will be turned fully to the right during reversing, causing the front of the vehicle to shift left; Before exiting the parking spot during parallel parking, shift into drive and activate the left turn signal, turning it off promptly after exiting; When entering the right-angle turn area, activate the left turn signal and turn it off promptly after completing the turn. Subject 2 is scored out of 100 points, with evaluation criteria for failing, deducting 20 points, deducting 10 points, and deducting 5 points. The test is passed if the following conditions are met: ① For large passenger vehicles, tractors, city buses, medium passenger vehicles, and large trucks, a score of 90 or above is required; ② For other vehicle types, a score of 80 or above is required. The C1 and C2 license tests include five mandatory items: reversing into a parking space, parallel parking, slope start and stop (C2 has canceled this item), right-angle turn, and curve driving (commonly known as the S-curve) (some regions also include a sixth item: highway toll card collection). The A1, A2, A3, B1, and B2 license tests include: pole test, slope start and stop, parallel parking, single-plank bridge, curve driving, right-angle turn, narrow gate passage, continuous obstacle passage, bumpy road driving, narrow road U-turn, as well as simulated highway driving, continuous sharp mountain curves, tunnels, rain (fog) conditions, slippery roads, and emergency handling.
