If you hit a parked car while reversing, the insurance company will provide coverage. As long as there are no illegal acts such as driving without a license or drunk driving, the insurance company should compensate according to the terms of the insurance contract. According to Article 21 of the 'Compulsory Traffic Accident Liability Insurance for Motor Vehicles Regulations': If a road traffic accident caused by the insured motor vehicle results in personal injury, death, or property loss to victims other than the vehicle's occupants or the insured, the insurance company shall compensate within the limits of the compulsory traffic accident liability insurance coverage as stipulated by law. If the loss from the road traffic accident is intentionally caused by the victim, the insurance company will not compensate. Article 22 states that under any of the following circumstances, the insurance company shall advance the rescue expenses within the limits of the compulsory traffic accident liability insurance coverage and has the right to recover the costs from the responsible party: 1. The driver does not have a valid driving license or is drunk; 2. The insured motor vehicle is involved in an accident during theft or robbery; 3. The insured intentionally causes a road traffic accident. If any of the aforementioned circumstances occur and result in property loss to the victim, the insurance company will not be liable for compensation.
