Driving a car into the non-motor vehicle lane does not result in penalty points, but may lead to a warning or a fine. Legal provisions Article 36: According to road conditions and traffic needs, roads are divided into motor vehicle lanes, non-motor vehicle lanes, and sidewalks. Motor vehicles, non-motor vehicles, and pedestrians shall travel in their respective lanes. In cases where motor vehicle lanes, non-motor vehicle lanes, and sidewalks are not divided, motor vehicles shall travel in the middle of the road, while non-motor vehicles and pedestrians shall travel on both sides of the road. Article 90: If a motor vehicle driver violates the road traffic safety laws and regulations regarding road traffic rules, they shall be given a warning or fined. If there are other provisions in this law, the punishment shall be in accordance with those provisions.
