Will Applying Sun Film Affect the Registration of a New Car?
1 Answers
Whether a new car with film can be registered mainly depends on whether the applied sun film meets the required standards. Standards stipulate: The driver's compartment of a motor vehicle must ensure the driver's forward and side vision. The visible light transmittance of the front windshield and the glass areas outside the windshield used for the driver's viewing area must not be less than 70%. Mirror-reflective sunshade films are not allowed on any window glass. Notes: Some cars are not approved for registration after applying film because the film does not meet technical standards, either due to the sun film's transmittance failing to meet requirements, such as being particularly dark, black, or reflective.
