Why was the URV discontinued?

Because the URV could not meet the China VI emission standards. 1. Exterior: The URV features a new front fascia design catering to younger consumers, with extensive chrome accents and muscular lines enhancing its presence. In contrast, the Avancier's exterior design is more refined and sporty, with sharper angles and less softness. 2. Features: Equipped with premium amenities like leather seats, panoramic power sunroof, rearview camera, front fog lamps, etc. Additional high-end features include LED headlights, leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated front seats, panoramic power sunroof, front/rear curtain airbags, and rearview camera.
As a Honda owner for ten years, I think the discontinuation of the UR-V is mainly due to intense market competition. Positioned as a mid-size SUV, it's more premium than the CR-V, but consumers prefer economical and practical models like the CR-V. With sales lagging and high costs, plus the rise of electric vehicles in recent years, Honda likely decided to free up production lines for new models like hybrid CR-Vs or pure electric vehicles. When I drove the UR-V, the fuel consumption was relatively high. Nowadays, people prioritize environmental friendliness and cost savings, making it somewhat outdated. It's normal for manufacturers to adjust strategies, and I'd suggest those interested in SUVs consider other models within the same brand.
