But later, domestic models like the Geely Binyue and Changan CS35 offered more space, higher configurations, and were 20,000-30,000 yuan cheaper, making the EcoSport somewhat awkward. Plus, its three-cylinder 1.0T engine made many people worry about vibration issues. Ford itself adjusted its strategy during those years, focusing more on promoting higher-profit SUVs like the Kuga. Last year, I heard from a salesperson at a dealership that the manufacturer found the cost of updating the car to meet China VI emission standards too high, so they simply decided to discontinue it. However, you can still find it in the used car market, and maintenance isn't expensive.
