Why is there water on the ground after using the car air conditioner?

1. Evaporator: The car's air conditioning system is equipped with an evaporator on the dashboard. When the air conditioner is turned on (AC key activated), the surface temperature of the evaporator becomes very low. Moisture from the hot air inside the car condenses on the heat-absorbing fins of the evaporator. The water droplets are collected by the evaporator's plastic housing and drained out of the car through a pipe. If the car has been parked for a while, you might sometimes notice clean, transparent water on the ground. Don't worry about car malfunction, as the engine coolant is usually antifreeze (green, red, or blue). 2. Compressor: Outside the compressor (low-pressure zone) in the engine compartment, condensed moisture from the air can also drip onto the ground (sometimes in greater quantities than the evaporator's drainage). 3. Low-pressure pipe: If the low-pressure pipe is not covered with insulating foam, moisture from the air can easily condense on the pipe's surface. Water droplets typically accumulate at the lowest point of the pipe.
