Why is there no sound when locking the Buick Excelle?

Buick Excelle may not produce a locking sound due to a drained battery. Here are the relevant details: To disable the locking sound on the Excelle: Press CONFIG to enter settings, navigate to the second-to-last option "Vehicle Settings", select "Smart Remote Key Settings" within the vehicle settings, then choose the second option "Lights Only" under "Remote Lock Light/Horn Feedback". Note: For the luxury version, you can find a "Car" option on the main navigation screen interface where you can set whether the lights illuminate or the horn sounds when locking the vehicle.
