Why is there no air coming out of the Sagitar's air conditioner?

The reasons why the Sagitar's air conditioner is not blowing air: 1. Clogged air filter: Poor air circulation naturally prevents the air conditioner from blowing air. This is also the most common cause of no air flow. Generally, after cleaning or replacing it, the air conditioner's air flow will return to normal. 2. Damaged blower: The blower is an important part of the air conditioning system, and the air circulation inside the car relies on its operation. Therefore, if the blower is damaged, there will be insufficient air intake or no air intake, making it impossible to blow air out, resulting in the air conditioner not blowing air. 3. Faulty air door, computer or switch: The air door is inside the air duct, and since it is made of plastic, it may get stuck or break. When the air door cannot open, the air drawn in by the blower cannot flow out from the air outlet, causing the air conditioner to not blow air.
I've driven a Volkswagen Sagitar for many years, and the AC not blowing air is all too common. The most frequent issues are a faulty blower motor or problems with the control panel. First, try this yourself: turn on the AC switch, set it to the highest fan speed, and listen for any sound from the blower. If there's no sound, it might be a blown fuse or motor failure; if there's sound but no airflow, it's likely a clogged filter full of dust. I just had this happen recently—opening the glove compartment and replacing the filter fixed it. Additionally, a short circuit in the wiring can also cause it to stop working, especially in older cars. Don’t mess around with it; I recommend going to a 4S shop as soon as possible to get it fixed, so you don’t end up distracted by the summer heat while driving. Regularly check the AC filter during car washes and replace it once a year to extend its lifespan and avoid costly repairs for bigger issues.
