Why is the window regulator slow?
1 Answers
Reasons for slow window regulator operation include: 1. The window felt channel is too tight or doesn't match the glass curvature; 2. Loose regulator mechanism causing glass misalignment or frayed cables increasing lifting resistance; 3. Aging regulator motor with insufficient power; 4. Aged outer water seal strips or inner dust seals creating excessive resistance. Window regulators are mechanisms for raising/lowering car window glass, mainly divided into electric and manual types. Most modern vehicles now use button-controlled electric regulators instead of manual ones.
