Why is the tire pressure light on when the tire pressure is normal?

Tire pressure is normal but the tire pressure light is on, possibly because the tire pressure sensor detected a puncture, causing the tire pressure monitoring light to stay on. It could also be because the tire pressure was previously high or low, and after adjusting the pressure, the tire pressure settings were not reset, resulting in the light remaining on. Another possibility is a malfunction in the tire pressure sensor causing the light to illuminate. Generally, there are three main reasons for abnormal tire pressure: Abnormal tire pressure: Typically, the system will alert if the pressure is below 1.8 bar or above 3.0 bar. In this case, a tire inspection and pressure adjustment are necessary. Tire pressure monitoring not reset: After inflating the tires, if the tire pressure is not reset promptly, the tire pressure monitoring system will still record the previous data, causing the tire pressure monitoring light to stay on. Simply resetting the tire pressure will resolve this issue. Damaged tire pressure sensor: The tire pressure sensor, which monitors tire pressure, is installed directly inside the tire and connected to the tire inflation valve. If the sensor is damaged during driving, such as by hitting an object, the tire pressure warning light will illuminate. In the case of sensor damage, the only solution is to replace it with a new part.
