Why is the Q3 auto start-stop not working?

Q3's auto start-stop function is enabled by default. If it suddenly stops working, it could be due to accidentally pressing the auto start-stop button on the car, or issues such as the engine not reaching normal operating temperature, the automatic air conditioning not reaching the preset temperature, insufficient battery charge, turning the steering wheel after stopping, emergency braking, reversing, etc. Here are the details: 1. Battery charge issue: The start-stop function only activates when the battery has sufficient charge. If the battery charge is low and the engine shuts off, it might not restart. You can try stopping and waiting for the engine to shut off; even if you don't shift to D and drive, after a while, the engine will restart because the car has detected the battery charge is insufficient. 2. The auto start-stop function actually judges whether the engine should shut off based on the driver's actions. Light braking won't shut off the engine, while heavy braking will. It determines whether it's a long stop or a temporary one.
