Why is the noise so loud after turning on the air conditioning in the new Santana?

The loudest noise heard after turning on the air conditioning is the sound of the electric fan running at high speed. Increased engine load: Because the compressor starts working, the engine load increases, and the speed must be increased to supplement power. Otherwise, there will be poor operation and unstable idle speed. So when listening outside the car, in addition to the sound of the electric fan, the engine speed is high, and the noise will also be louder. However, it is not so obvious, and the noise will be covered by the electric fan. The noise of the electric fan is really too loud. The electric fan has two gears: The electric fan operates to dissipate heat for the radiator and condenser. There are two gears, low speed and high speed. If the air conditioning is not turned on, the rotation only dissipates heat for the radiator. It does not turn on when the water temperature is low, and only turns on when the water temperature is high. In most cases, starting the low-speed gear can provide good heat dissipation without the need to turn on the high-speed gear. The noise of the low-speed gear is very small and not obvious to hear.
When driving the new Santana, I also noticed the loud air conditioning noise, mainly because the car's AC compressor and fan speed are designed to be quite aggressive. The engine driving the compressor creates a humming sound, especially noticeable when stopped at a red light. Another key reason is insufficient soundproofing material coverage, allowing the noise to directly enter the cabin. You can first try lowering the fan speed to see if it improves, but if the noise is as loud as a tractor, you should check if the fan bearings are damaged or if there's a refrigerant leak in the pipes. The AC system indeed tends to work under heavy load during hot weather, so it's recommended to regularly clean the AC filter and radiator fins to slightly reduce the noise.
