Why is the Luxgen so fuel-consuming?

Luxgen's high fuel consumption can be attributed to the following reasons: 1. Engine: This engine can only be considered average at best. Luxgen purchased engine technology for production and then assembled it with Garrett turbochargers from the US. The performance of this engine is limited, with the 2.2T model not even outperforming other 2.0T models in terms of specifications. Comparatively, this engine is relatively fuel-consuming, with mediocre power and torque capabilities. Yulon's engine technology is considered relatively backward even among mainland China's independent automakers, as Taiwan's automotive industry as a whole is not as robust as mainland China's. 2. Heavy body: The heavy body is considered for safety, but this is actually incorrect. Due to the larger structure of the MPV, it inevitably comes with the drawback of being overweight.
