Why is the Lavida window switch not working?

It is caused by the accidental power loss of the vehicle's body computer, which results in the loss of learned data. This function can be relearned by operating the door buttons. Steps to relearn the Lavida window switch function: Open the driver's door of the vehicle, press the vehicle's one-touch start button, at this time the instrument panel lights up and the vehicle starts, hold down the door lock button without releasing, pull up the window lift switch without releasing, and hold for 5 seconds to complete. Notes for automatic function activation: The power window lift must be reactivated before new vehicle delivery. Once the power window lift has been reactivated, the battery must not be disconnected again. The automatic function of other window lifts can be activated by operating the corresponding switches on the driver's side front door.
Last week, my Lavida also had a window switch failure. I usually fix minor issues myself, so I first checked the fuse. The window fuse is located in the fuse box in the engine compartment, marked with letters. Upon opening it, I found it was indeed blown. Replacing it with a new fuse solved the problem. If that didn’t work, I’d have to check if the switch was faulty, as stuck buttons or poor contact are common issues. Wiring problems are also frequent, such as aging wires or loose connections inside the door panel. Dismantling the door panel myself was too troublesome, so I later asked a friend to help. It turned out that the headlight wiring was interfering with the window control module. Be extra careful after rain or car washes—having windows that won’t close is a hassle. Remember to check for overheating sounds from the motor as a clue. For safety, always keep spare fuses in the car.
