Why is the heater of BMW 525 not working?
1 Answers
The heater of BMW 525 may not be working due to a loose connection plug of the heater wire, or it could be caused by prolonged use leading to overheating and deformation of the fuse, resulting in poor contact. Another possible reason is wear and tear of the heater motor bearing sleeve, causing friction between the rotor and stator. Solution for loose connection: Locate the plug, unplug and plug it back several times to remove any oxidation or debris on the contact points, ensuring good contact. Prolonged use of the heater: After prolonged use, the heater may become deformed due to heat, leading to poor contact. As a result, the heater will not function properly, and the fan will not rotate. Precautions for using the heater: When using the heater, it is recommended to use a standard dedicated socket rated above 10A. For heater plugs that are severely deformed, they must be replaced as soon as possible. Avoid continuous use of the heater for extended periods.
