Why is the Car Windshield Washer Not Spraying Water?
1 Answers
Car windshield washers are tools we frequently use while driving. Common causes for washers not spraying water include: 1. Insufficient washer fluid level: Some vehicles will illuminate a dashboard warning light when washer fluid is low, reminding you to refill it. 2. Incorrect washer fluid selection: In cold weather, the fluid may freeze and crack the washer reservoir. Therefore, when choosing washer fluid, opt for an antifreeze-type solution. Select the appropriate antifreeze rating based on your local temperature. Currently available options include sub-zero washer fluids rated for -10°C or even -25°C. 3. Faulty washer pump: A malfunctioning washer pump can prevent water from spraying. 4. Clogged or damaged washer hoses/nozzles: Blockages or damage in the washer system's tubing or nozzles may also cause spray failure.
