The ambient light in the Avancier may not be working due to a blown fuse. Here is some relevant information: 1. The new Avancier: The new Avancier largely retains the design of the previous model but has been optimized in details, enhancing the overall appearance. For example, the front grille has been changed from a mesh pattern to a horizontal bar design, giving it a more rugged look. The lower bumper has also been redesigned to appear more refined, and the fog lights have been improved for better functionality. 2. Optimizations in the new Avancier: The rear design of the new Avancier has been optimized, featuring sleeker taillights and a quad-exhaust system replacing the previous dual-exhaust setup, making it look more refined and sporty. Combined with its unique fastback design, which differs from traditional SUVs, the Avancier continues to attract the attention of countless car enthusiasts.

Last time I drove my brother's Avancier, I noticed the ambient lights weren't working, so I specifically went to the 4S shop to ask a technician. Don't rush to dismantle the car—it's most likely a settings issue. Use the buttons on the right side of the steering wheel to enter the vehicle settings, find the 'Lighting' option, and check if the ambient light switch is turned on and whether the brightness has been adjusted to the lowest. If everything here is normal, then check the fuse box—the small compartment below the driver's side—and look for the 10A fuse labeled METER or ILLUM. Pull it out to see if the metal wire is broken. However, Honda's electrical systems are quite complex, so if you're not confident, it's easier to just take it to the shop and have them plug in a computer to read the fault codes. It might just be a loose wiring connector pressed by the floor mat.

The ambient lights in my Honda Avancier suddenly stopped working last week, and troubleshooting revealed wiring issues at the door panel connection. These light strips typically run through the wiring harness at the door hinge, where repeated door openings/closings can damage the wires. Here's a DIY detection trick: Park in a dark area at night and observe if there's faint light from the door panel gap when opening - if visible, it means the main circuit is intact and the transmission between light strip and control module is interrupted. By the way, have you installed any aftermarket power tailgate or 360° camera? Non-OEM modifications are most likely to interfere with ambient light circuits. My neighbor burned the ambient light fuse twice when the technician messed up the wiring during dashcam installation.

What Causes Loss of Communication with the Body Control Module?

Loss of communication with the body control module may be due to unreliable battery contact connections or network signal loss. Here is relevant information about the body controller: 1. Functions: Common functions of the body controller include controlling power windows, power mirrors, air conditioning, headlights, turn signals, anti-theft locking systems, central locking, defrosting devices, etc. The body controller can connect with other vehicle ECUs via a bus. 2. Tasks: The primary task of the body controller is to simplify operations, reduce manual operations by occupants, and prevent distraction. The automotive body control system includes safety, comfort control, and information communication systems, mainly used to enhance vehicle safety, comfort, and convenience.

Does a 220V Car Inverter Damage the Car?

Improper operation of a 220V car inverter can damage the car. Here are some precautions for using an inverter: 1. During use: Strictly follow the instructions in the user manual. 2. Environmental requirements: Do not place the inverter in direct sunlight or near the outlet of a heater. The operating ambient temperature of the inverter should not exceed 40 degrees Celsius. 3. Power requirements: The output power of the car inverter must be greater than the power consumption of the electrical appliance, especially for appliances with high starting power, such as refrigerators and air conditioners, and a larger margin should be left.

When Should Brake Discs Be Replaced?

Brake discs do not have a definitive replacement interval, as their replacement timing is influenced by the vehicle's operating environment and the driver's habits. Generally, front brake discs should be replaced approximately every 60,000 to 80,000 kilometers, while rear brake discs require replacement around every 100,000 kilometers. Relevant details are as follows: 1. The replacement of brake discs is not determined by usage time or mileage alone; it primarily depends on the driver's habits and the quality of the brake discs themselves, ultimately reflected in the remaining thickness of the brake discs and their radial runout value. 2. Replacing brake discs does not necessarily require replacing the brake pads. If the brake pads still have substantial thickness, they can be retained when replacing the brake discs.

Which is Better, Drum Brakes or Disc Brakes?

Both have their advantages. Disc brakes have better heat dissipation than drum brakes, preventing brake fade and failure during continuous braking. Drum brakes operate with lower hydraulic pressure, but their diameter increases when heated, which can lead to less responsive braking. More details are as follows: 1. Drum brakes consist of two semi-circular brake shoes inside the wheel hub, using the 'lever principle' to create friction between the shoes and the inner surface of the hub for braking. 2. Disc brakes use a caliper to squeeze two brake pads against a rotor attached to the wheel, generating friction between the pads and the rotor during braking.

Do cars need to install static strips?

Do cars need to install static strips? Cars need to install static strips, especially during autumn and winter seasons, because the relatively low air humidity prevents static electricity from conducting, causing it to accumulate on the car body. Installing static strips can prevent this situation. Car static electricity is generated by the friction between the car body and dust in a dry environment. When people sit in the car, their clothes inevitably rub against the car's interior, producing static electricity. If the car interior uses more synthetic fiber fabrics, it is even easier to generate static electricity. While driving, encountering static electricity without precaution may cause excessive fright, leading to accidental traffic incidents.
