Why is the air conditioning in BYD Qin not cooling?

Here are the reasons why the air conditioning in BYD Qin is not cooling: 1. Refrigerant leakage in the air conditioning system: Refrigerant leakage leads to a lack of refrigerant, causing the air conditioning not to cool. The solution is to add refrigerant along with fluorescent dye. After driving the vehicle for a period, use a specialized UV lamp to inspect the air conditioning system. If there are any leaks, they will glow under the light. The leaking parts or components should then be repaired or replaced. 2. Low engine speed: When the car is idling, the engine speed is low, which causes the compressor speed to also decrease. Combined with insufficient refrigerant, the instantaneous pressure boost cannot reach the standard level, resulting in low high pressure and the air conditioning not cooling. Observe the sight glass on the top of the dryer. If there are continuous bubbles during normal operation, it indicates insufficient refrigerant. If bubbles are seen flipping, it means the refrigerant is severely insufficient and needs to be replenished. 3. Damaged expansion valve: A damaged expansion valve prevents the formation of high pressure in the system before the valve, causing the high-pressure refrigerant to fail to reach 150 Kpa. As a result, the evaporator after the expansion valve cannot cool down, leading to ineffective air conditioning. Internal wear in the air conditioning compressor can also cause the pressure between the compressor and the expansion valve to fail to reach 150 Kpa to 200 Kpa, preventing normal circulation of the refrigerant in the system and resulting in poor cooling. If severe internal wear is found in the air conditioning compressor, replacing the compressor will resolve the issue.
