4S shops do not apply front windshield film to save costs. If the 4S shop promises to provide full-car film when purchasing a car, it should include the front windshield film. If the front windshield film is not applied when picking up the car, you can request the 4S shop to apply the front windshield film according to the contract. Currently, there are roughly four types of car films on the market. The first type is the coating process film, which still exists in small quantities on the market; the second type is the dyeing process film, an outdated process, but still widely available on the market; the third type is the vacuum thermal evaporation process film, a relatively common explosion-proof film; and the fourth type is the multi-layer magnetron sputtering spectral selection film, which is a higher-end process film on the market.
