Why Doesn't the Traffic Police Confiscate the License When 12 Points Are Deducted?

When 12 points are deducted, the traffic police do not confiscate the license because the driving license is already in a 'temporarily suspended' status. At this point, the driver must participate in a 7-day theoretical study (Subject 1) and pass the exam to restore the license. Do not take chances and continue driving on the road. Drivers who have had 12 points deducted must report to the license issuing authority or the location of the violation within 15 days to attend the 7-day Subject 1 study and take the exam. After passing the exam, they can go to the vehicle management office to clear the points and retrieve their license. If the exam is failed, the driver must continue studying and retake the exam. If a driver accumulates 24 points in one scoring cycle, within 10 days of passing the Subject 1 exam, they must also pass the road driving skills test (Subject 2), which will be conducted according to the highest vehicle class the driver is licensed for.
