Why Doesn't the Dash Cam Record Continuously?
1 Answers
Here are the specific reasons why a dash cam may not record: 1. Motion detection is enabled: If motion detection is turned on, the dash cam will not record when the scene is static. Turn off this function and try again. 2. Memory card issues: The memory card may have insufficient speed, encounter errors while storing video files, or have other inherent problems. You can choose to format the memory card and then restore the dash cam to its initial settings. 3. Loop recording is not enabled: Loop recording divides videos into segments of a certain duration and stores them in the memory card. Once the memory card is full, the oldest video segments are automatically deleted. If loop recording is turned off, videos will not be automatically deleted and will continue to be stored in the dash cam until the storage space is full, causing the dash cam to stop recording. Enable loop recording and set the time to 3 or 5 minutes.
