Why doesn't BMW have an external air circulation mode?

BMW air conditioning does have an external air circulation mode. BMW air control button classifications: A circle with illuminated A and unlit A - When the A indicator is present, it represents automatic internal/external air circulation control. When the LED next to A is illuminated, it's in automatic mode, switching between internal and external circulation based on in-car and outdoor air quality; when the right LED is illuminated, it's internal circulation; when neither is lit, it's external circulation. A car button with A and M indicators: When the LED next to A is illuminated, it's automatic mode, automatically switching between internal and external circulation based on air quality; when M is illuminated, it's forced internal circulation; when neither is lit, it's external circulation.
