Why does the Volkswagen's fan keep running after parking?

It is abnormal for the Volkswagen Tiguan's radiator fan to keep running continuously. The continuous operation of the electric fan may be caused by high radiator temperature and ongoing heat dissipation, or it could be due to a faulty thermostat causing the electric fan to run continuously. The electric fan turns on when the temperature rises and stops running once the radiator cools down to a certain level. Normal state after vehicle shutdown: Generally, after the vehicle is turned off, the engine cooling system continues to dissipate heat from the engine, so the fan may run for a while longer. If the air conditioning was used in summer, this duration may be even longer. If the fan still doesn’t stop after an extended period, contact your local 4S store for inspection and repair. Self-diagnosis of the fault: Start the engine and let it idle, then check if the electric fan is not running. After turning off the ignition, observe that the electric fan does not operate initially, but about 1 minute later, it starts running at high speed. The fault is indeed present.
