Why does the fuel gauge show not full after refueling?

Refueling but the fuel gauge shows not full for the following reasons: 1. Occasionally, it may be a normal phenomenon. The fuel tank was not actually full, and the fuel gun jumped because gasoline vapor "pushed" the gun to jump. 2. Too fast refueling speed will produce expanding vapor, and if the carbon canister solenoid valve is closed at this time, the gasoline vapor in the carbon canister will accumulate more and more. After the fuel gun jumps, there is some vapor between the fuel port and the fuel tank. 3. If the fuel gauge often shows not full after refueling, it indicates a problem. The most common phenomenon is that the float of the fuel pump is faulty. Solution: Replace the fuel pump.
