Why does the ETC always fail to detect?

Reasons for ETC detection failure: 1. Excessive speed: Normally, ETC regulations stipulate that vehicles must pass through the detection system at a speed not exceeding 20 kilometers per hour. When the speed is too high, the system cannot properly scan the ETC card. 2. LED display shows no OBU: This situation generally occurs when the card is not properly inserted. Simply remove the card and reinsert it. If the issue persists, it is recommended to use the manual lane. 3. OBU device issues: This is usually due to the OBU being out of power or incorrectly positioned. In such cases, it is advisable to use the manual lane. During regular use, it is important to take good care of the OBU device in the vehicle to avoid moisture or interference from magnetic fields. 4. Using an ETC that does not belong to the vehicle: Since ETC uses a one-card-per-vehicle recording method, using someone else's ETC that does not match the license plate number may result in failure to pass the toll station smoothly.
