Why does the Emgrand GL shake severely when starting?

Severe shaking during startup of the Emgrand GL is mainly caused by issues in the ignition system, unstable oil pressure, and engine aging. Solutions for the ignition system: Check the working condition of the spark plugs, high-voltage wires, and ignition coils. Poor performance of the ignition system or faulty spark plug firing can lead to such issues. Solutions for oil pressure: If you have already cleaned the engine carbon deposits, washed the throttle body, replaced the oil pads and spark plugs, but still notice body shaking during idling, it is recommended to visit a 4S shop to check the fuel supply pressure and the intake pressure sensor. Abnormal fuel pump supply pressure or faulty readings and performance of the intake pressure sensor can cause body shaking. Solutions for aging engine components: Car shaking can also be related to aging engine mounts. Engine mounts are essentially the shock absorption system of the engine, responsible for absorbing minor vibrations during operation. If the engine mounts are faulty, these vibrations can be transmitted to the steering wheel and the cabin, causing shaking during idling.
I also experienced shaking when starting my Emgrand GL, and it's usually due to these issues: The most common cause is aging engine mounts—when the rubber cracks, the engine isn't securely fixed, causing the whole car to shake when accelerating. Worn-out CV joint cages can lead to uneven power transmission, making it feel like there's sand stuck in the wheels. Faulty ignition coils or spark plugs can cause misfires, resulting in intermittent power. Excessive carbon buildup in the throttle body can block the air intake, causing delayed throttle response and shaking. If the clutch pressure plate is warped, you'll feel strong vibrations during partial engagement, even numbing your foot. I suggest starting with simple checks, like replacing the spark plugs with platinum ones or cleaning the throttle body. If that doesn't help, have a mechanic inspect the engine mounts by lifting the car. Don't delay fixing this—damaging the transmission would be a huge loss!
