Why does the Chery A3 have unstable idle speed with fluctuations?

Chery A3's unstable idle speed is mainly caused by low ignition energy, malfunctioning water temperature sensor, and improper air-fuel mixture ratio. Low ignition energy: When the engine temperature is insufficient, fuel atomization is poor. After prolonged use, the spark plug gap increases, leading to decreased ignition energy which affects power performance and causes unstable idle. Malfunctioning water temperature sensor: A faulty water temperature sensor cannot accurately determine engine conditions, resulting in reduced fuel delivery and unstable car idle. Improper air-fuel mixture ratio: If the air-fuel mixture ratio in the car's engine compartment is improperly adjusted, the vehicle becomes prone to shaking.

I've been driving a Chery A3 for five years, and the unstable idle speed is really a headache. The most common issue is a dirty throttle body, where carbon buildup in the intake port causes fluctuating air intake, making the RPM surge up and down. The fuel injector is another troublemaker—unstable fuel pressure or gum deposits can disrupt the fuel injection. If the spark plug gap is too wide, the ignition becomes uneven, and the tachometer dances. From my experience, don’t overlook those rubber hoses; aging can cause air leaks and disrupt vacuum pressure. If the engine mounts are loose, the engine will shake more noticeably. My advice is to regularly clean the throttle body, inspect the ignition coil wiring, and change the engine oil on schedule as per the manual. For a real solution, it’s best to visit a professional shop and use an OBD scanner to check for trouble codes.

During car repairs, I've encountered numerous idle issues with the Chery A3, primarily stemming from three systems: fuel, ignition, and electrical. Insufficient fuel pump pressure disrupts the injection timing, while oil-contaminated mass air flow sensors send erroneous data, causing the ECU to misfire fuel injection and ignition commands. Aging ignition coils with current leakage can suddenly disable a cylinder, leading to engine vibration. A faulty crankshaft position sensor makes the ECU lose accurate ignition timing. Clogged fuel filters also cause poor fuel delivery. For a thorough fix, prioritize replacing aged vacuum hoses, cleaning intake manifold carbon deposits, and using double-iridium spark plugs for extended lifespan.

How to Handle Brake Failure in an Automatic Transmission Car

The methods for dealing with brake failure in an automatic transmission car are as follows: 1. Stay calm and turn on the hazard lights. When you discover that the brakes of an automatic transmission car have failed, it is crucial to remain composed, activate the hazard lights, and signal to other vehicles to avoid traffic accidents. 2. Use gear braking by shifting into L or P gear, and avoid shifting into N gear if possible. This step can be challenging to perform, so ensure safety before attempting it. 3. Apply the handbrake quickly and release it immediately. Pulling the handbrake all the way up for braking not only fails to alleviate the brake failure but also poses a greater safety risk, as the car may skid and potentially roll over if not controlled properly.

What does SCN/AST mean in cars?

In cars, SCN stands for automatic radio station search, and AST refers to automatic station memory. The following is a related introduction to car radios: 1. Concept: A car radio is a voice entertainment configuration installed in a car and is one of the earliest and most common configurations of in-car audio-visual entertainment systems. It is constructed from mechanical components, electronic components, magnets, etc., and is a machine that converts radio wave signals into electrical energy and can receive audio signals transmitted by radio stations. 2. Other identifiers: TRE for treble boost, BAL for left and right speaker balance adjustment, BAS for bass boost, FAD for front and rear speaker balance adjustment, AST for automatic radio station storage, SRC for sound source selection, and p1~p6 for radio preset keys.

Does a 50-Jin Reduction in Vehicle Weight Significantly Impact Acceleration?

Reducing the vehicle weight by 50 Jin has a minimal impact on acceleration, not exceeding 2%. The key factors influencing a car's acceleration performance are as follows: 1. Transmission System: The higher the efficiency of the transmission system and the smaller the power loss, the faster the acceleration under the same engine power output. 2. Drive Type: During acceleration or hill climbing, the vehicle's center of gravity shifts backward, increasing rear-wheel traction. In such scenarios, rear-wheel-drive (RWD) vehicles demonstrate acceleration advantages. Conversely, all-wheel-drive (AWD) models exhibit unparalleled superiority when road-tire friction is low. 3. Tire Factors: Generally, wider tires provide better grip, reducing slippage during acceleration, but also increase rolling resistance.
