Why does the car still feel hot when the air conditioning is on?

There are several reasons why a car may still feel hot when the air conditioning is on: 1. Incorrect operation: To cool the car, the AC switch must be turned on and the temperature set to the cooling position; a dirty or clogged air filter can prevent cold air from reaching the vents. 2. Incorrect refrigerant levels: Overfilling the air conditioning system with refrigerant can cause excessive pressure in the pipes, leading to frequent compressor shutdowns and ineffective cooling; insufficient refrigerant can also result in poor cooling. 3. Clogged condenser: A slipping compressor belt or electromagnetic clutch, poor sealing of the compressor piston, malfunctioning condenser cooling fan or reverse operation, and a faulty expansion valve can all contribute to the issue.
