Why does the car shake when it's cold?
1 Answers
Reasons for car shaking when cold: 1. The temperature inside the engine is insufficient, and the temperatures of both fuel and lubricating oil are not adequate; 2. Inaccurate air-fuel mixture ratio; 3. Carbon deposits on the valves and intake ports; 4. Different working conditions of each cylinder; 5. Malfunctioning water temperature sensor; 6. Dirty air flow meter leading to reduced air intake; 7. Poor working condition of the exhaust gas recirculation valve, introducing exhaust gas at idle; 8. The idle speed motor controls the bypass intake port to regulate the air intake volume, which may not function properly if the voltage is low; 9. Poor fuel quality, failing to meet the required heat value, resulting in lower power output from combustion.
