Why does the Arrizo GX accelerator pedal vibrate?

Generally, it is caused by excessive engine vibration being transmitted to the accelerator pedal. Possible fault points include the following: 1. The engine has a misfire fault, causing one or more cylinders to not work, resulting in strong engine vibration being transmitted to the accelerator pedal. 2. The engine throttle is too dirty, causing engine vibration. It is recommended to check the throttle, and if it is too dirty, the throttle needs to be cleaned. 3. The rubber parts inside the engine and transmission mount have aged, causing this component to fail to absorb the vibration during engine operation, and the vibration will be transmitted to the accelerator pedal.
When driving my Arrizo GX, I experienced vibrations in the accelerator pedal, feeling like my foot was trembling, especially during acceleration or at lower speeds. This could be due to uneven engine operation, such as dirty spark plugs or ignition system issues, where vibrations transmit through the pedal. Another common cause is tire-related problems—uneven tire wear or untimely wheel balancing can affect vehicle vibration, making it more noticeable at the pedal. The suspension system also plays a role; for instance, worn shock absorbers or loose chassis bolts may amplify the sensation. After noticing the vibrations, I checked the spark plugs myself and found them blackened—replacing them improved the situation significantly. Remember, regular maintenance can prevent such issues, particularly seasonal inspections.
