Why does the air conditioning pipe of the new Jetta freeze?

The reasons for the freezing of the air conditioning pipe in the new Jetta are as follows: 1. Faulty expansion valve: A malfunction in the expansion valve prevents it from sensing the real-time temperature of the low-pressure pipe. If the temperature is too low, the low-pressure pipe may freeze, requiring the replacement of a new expansion valve. 2. Failure of the evaporator temperature sensor: The evaporator temperature sensor detects the surface temperature of the evaporator and inputs the data to the automatic air conditioning control unit. When the temperature drops below 2 degrees Celsius, the air conditioning stops operating to prevent frost or ice formation. Therefore, if the evaporator temperature sensor fails, it cannot detect the corresponding temperature data, leading to freezing of the car's air conditioning low-pressure pipe, necessitating the replacement of a new sensor.
