Why Does Tesla Have Two Charging Ports?
1 Answers
Tesla has two charging ports because it supports the new national standard, which allows for broader usage so more people can purchase and use Tesla's Superchargers less frequently. Charging port location: The charging interface is connected to the left taillight, and pressing the central control screen can control its opening and closing. Charging port opening method: It can be opened via the switch on the central control screen or by lightly touching the lower part of the charging port cover. Fast and slow charging ports: Both fast and slow charging interfaces are integrated under the cover. The slow charging port has an anti-theft function. The small dot above the slow charging port is the mechanical mechanism of this function. When activated, it extends outward to press against the unlock button on the slow charging gun head, preventing the gun head from being pulled out.
