Why Does Fog Form on Car Windows in Summer?
1 Answers
When the air conditioning is turned on inside the car during summer, the external temperature becomes lower than the internal temperature. This causes water vapor inside the car to condense into tiny water droplets. Since the windshield surface is not perfectly smooth and contains many microscopic imperfections, these water droplets adhere to the windshield, creating fog. Here are preventive measures for frost formation on car windows: 1. Use physical covers: Place a cover over the windshield to prevent the wipers from freezing to it. 2. Lower interior temperature after parking: In winter, since heaters are typically used while driving, open the car doors and windows after parking to allow the interior temperature to drop.
