Why Do Cars Need Regular Maintenance?

Reasons for regular car maintenance: 1. Daily maintenance of the vehicle is necessary for driving safety; 2. Maintaining good vehicle condition ensures driving safety. Regular maintenance involves periodic servicing and upkeep to preserve the vehicle's performance and extend its lifespan. As a car ages and accumulates mileage, its technical condition gradually deteriorates. The body loses its former luster, fastened components become loose, and the gaps between parts widen due to wear. Various vehicle protection fluids such as engine oil, transmission fluid, and coolant can become coked, scaled, degraded, or ineffective. These fluids, much like human blood, provide essential nourishment to various parts of the car. Failure to replace them in time can affect the car's normal operation and lifespan.
After driving for so many years, I deeply appreciate the benefits of regular maintenance, primarily for safety first. Imagine how dangerous it would be if the braking system failed or a tire went flat while driving on the road. During maintenance, checking these components can help identify potential issues in advance, such as changing the engine oil to prevent overheating or wear, and keeping the air fresh with clean filters. Neglecting maintenance allows small problems to accumulate into major troubles, which not only cost more to repair but also cause delays. Every 5,000 kilometers, I take my car to the repair shop to inspect the suspension and lighting systems, making driving more reassuring and family outings more secure. After forming this habit, my car runs much smoother, avoiding many potential risks.
