Why do all the power windows of the Lavida fail?

The reasons for the failure of all power windows in the Lavida include the system temporarily disabling the lifting function, damage to the window regulator, malfunction of the window control button, etc. System temporarily disabling the function: After raising and lowering the window glass several times in a row, to prevent damage caused by overheating of the window lift motor, the window lifting function may be temporarily disabled for a few seconds. You can wait for the function to recover before operating again. Window regulator damage: Try using the car key to control the window lift. If the car key also fails to control the window, it indicates that the window regulator is damaged and requires repair. Window control button malfunction: If the window control button is unresponsive or there is a problem with the wiring, check the wiring of the driver's side window switch. If the wiring is fine, the switch needs to be replaced.
I found that all the power windows in my Lavida are malfunctioning, and the reasons vary. The most common one is a blown fuse. The fuse that controls all the windows is located in the fuse box under the dashboard, and it melts when overloaded, especially when opening windows on rainy days, which can easily cause a short circuit. If replacing the fuse doesn’t work, the main switch module might be faulty—prolonged use can wear out the contacts or water corrosion can prevent signal transmission. Wiring issues are also common, such as aging, broken, or short-circuited wiring harnesses at the door connections, which can interrupt signals. Or the control module itself may be faulty, requiring a diagnostic tool to check the codes. In such cases, don’t tinker with it yourself. If trying a new fuse doesn’t help, just head straight to the repair shop—safety first.
