Why can't the car window roll up automatically?

There are several main reasons why a car window cannot roll up automatically: 1. Aging, excessive dirt, or deformation of the window seal (including inner trim strips): This creates resistance to the window's upward or downward movement. Generally, if the seal is aged or deformed, it's best to replace it with a new one. If it's just dirty, simply clean it. 2. The window regulator track is too dirty: Cleaning the window regulator track and applying grease can resolve the issue. 3. Low battery power: When the engine is not running, rolling the windows up or down consumes battery power. If the battery power is too low, there may be difficulty in operating the windows.
