Why can't the Audi key be pulled out?

Audi key cannot be pulled out for the following reasons: After parking, the key cannot be pulled out: First, check whether the gear is in neutral, and then turn the steering wheel slightly. After turning off the engine, the key cannot be pulled out: This is because the P gear does not touch the electronic sensor, or there are foreign objects inside. Check whether there are any foreign objects blocking the slot and clean them up. Then, move the gear again and confirm that it is in place, and the key can be pulled out. After inserting the key, it cannot be turned: This is because the steering wheel was not properly locked during the last parking, causing the steering wheel to be abnormally locked. Just turn the key while shaking the steering wheel left and right.
I've encountered this issue several times with my Audi. Usually, the steering wheel gets locked because it wasn't fully straightened when parking, and Audi's safety mechanism locks the ignition to prevent vehicle movement. Try gently turning the steering wheel while lightly twisting the key to see if it releases. Or if it's an automatic transmission, the gear might not be properly in P position—try pressing the brake, shifting to N, and then back to P. Another possibility is low battery power affecting the electronic systems; starting the car to charge for a while might help. Audi's key design is quite smart but also prone to faults—my old A6 had ignition switch issues, which were fixed by replacing it. Whatever you do, don't force the key to avoid damaging the lock cylinder. I recommend getting it checked and professionally repaired at an Audi dealership as soon as possible to prevent being stranded next time you try to start the car.
