Classification of Chinese License Plate Colors: Chinese license plates come in five colors: blue, yellow, white, black, and green. Each color represents a different category; Blue is for private vehicles and is generally issued by local vehicle management offices to the public; Yellow is used for large vehicles, agricultural vehicles, or training vehicles, and is also used for prototype vehicles undergoing testing; White is typically for military or police vehicles and is also used for racing cars; Black is for vehicles owned by foreign enterprises or brought into China by foreign companies.
