Located on the innermost (left) lane of the highway. Only when the road meets the standards of a six-lane divided highway will an overtaking lane be set up. The overtaking lane is a designated lane on the highway for vehicles that need to pass others or maintain higher speeds. However, some drivers occupy the overtaking lane for extended periods while driving, forcing vehicles that originally intended to use the overtaking lane to pass from lanes with relatively lower speeds. This increases the speed difference between vehicles attempting to overtake and those forced to pass from the regular driving lanes, which can easily lead to traffic accidents.
