Which Side is the Brake?

There are differences between manual and automatic transmissions regarding the brake pedal. Below is relevant information about the brake: 1. Brake position in manual transmission: From a professional driving perspective, both the accelerator and brake must be controlled by one foot. This means when pressing the brake, the accelerator must be released, and when pressing the accelerator, the brake won't be engaged. For manual transmissions, the far left is the clutch, the middle is the brake, and the far right is the accelerator. 2. Brake position in automatic transmission: For automatic transmissions, the left side is the brake, and the right side is the accelerator. Moreover, automatic transmission cars only require one foot, typically the right foot, to control. It is prohibited to use the left foot for the brake and the right foot for the accelerator.
